Buyers are going to love the location and the community. It is adjacent to Greenbelt National Park, a very unique urban National Park with great, hilly trails through a beautiful woodland, where one can find wildlife and take a break from the city life. It has a campground and 4 different trails ranging from 1 mile to over 5 miles in length. The condo is also within walking distance of Lake Artemesia, a scenic like surrounded by trails. It is a spectacular urban/suburban living location for people that love the outdoors, especially walkers, runners, and cyclists. It's also ideal for commuters to Washington, DC, as it has near and easy access to the Washington Beltway, I-295, I-95, and other thoroughfares. It is only about a 5-minute drive to the nearest Metro and has bus service that runs by. It's also quite close to the University of Maryland. The location is just fantastic.

The neighborhood is also fabulous. There is great diversity among the residents of the garden-style condos, and people are very friendly. It is pet-friendly, so one sees people walking dogs. During snowstorms, people help each other out with shoveling. If you ever need help, you are sure to find a neighbor willing to assist.

The condo itself is also a comfortable and cheerful place to live. The balcony overlooks a quiet courtyard with butterfly bushes underneath. It's small, but a calm place to sit and relax. The kitchen is a great size, with a dining area right outside of it that is open to the living room, making it a nice place to host a meal or have a gathering. The living room is large, as is the master bedroom, which has two closets. The second bedroom is the perfect size for an office or a child's bedroom. I was able to rent out the second bedroom, making the condo very affordable for both myself and my renters.

This was the first home I ever owned. I bought it as a young professional, and it served me very well. I fell in love with the location and the community. It was very convenient for me to get to work, school (for my Masters degree), and to participate in various activities such as Toastmasters and a running club (which met right there in Greenbelt Park).

The Westchester Park development is sort of its own community in between College Park and Greenbelt. College Park, as home to the University of Maryland, is a bit like a college town, with activities that college students and young professionals will enjoy, as well as quiet neighborhoods. Greenbelt is a bit bohemian - very laid back and with a town square feel to it. I loved them both.

A new kitchen floor, a new bathroom floor, and new paint were all just completed. The air handler in the unit, which delivers the A/C and heat, was replaced earlier this year.
