Shawn Derrick Named New Team Leader for 12:45 Team’s  Fredericksburg/Stafford Location

Fairfax, VA - December 5, 2018 - The 12:45 Team with Keller Williams Realty announced today that top expansion real estate agent Shawn Derrick is now the Team Leader of the 12:45 Team's Fredericksburg/Stafford location.

Mr. Derrick joined the 12:45 Team as a new real estate agent in 2015. He assumed the role of expansion agent who works with buyers and sellers in the Fredericksburg/ Stafford market. Mr. Derrick has quickly become one of the top 5 agents in all of Fredericksburg.

In his first year he helped 31 families buy, sell or invest in real estate. While the average sells 8 homes a year, Mr. Derrick flourished in his 2nd year helping 58 families.  With a vision to grow his own business, aided by the support network of the 12:45 Team, Mr. Derrick hired a showing agent to help leverage his time so he could work with more families. He has won Top Dawg award for 3 straight years with the 12:45 Team. This award is given to the top sales agent on the 12:45 Team and they earn a trip to the Caribbean. In 2018, he took the next step in his business career as 4 agents have joined Mr. Derrick and his leadership to take their careers to new heights. After a record-breaking year in 2018 with 74 families helped (214 home sales in 4 years) Mr. Derrick has his vision set on even bigger goals with his team.

When asked what he is most excited about for the future at 12:45 team Mr. Derrick stated, “I am most excited about helping our agents create opportunity and financial success through real estate and when they look back on their career, they can be confident that the systems, models, culture, accountability and leadership helped them produce the lives they want to live.”

Mr. Derrick’s 2020 vision is to be leading a team of 7 agents selling 150 homes and replacing himself out of the team leader role.

During his first 4 years with the 12:45 Team, Mr. Derrick has excelled off the court also. He has a beautiful wife Jess (known to him as Babes) and 5 amazing children who are active in local 4H, dance, and sports. His role as a pastor of Mercy Hill Community Church sees him leading the congregation alongside 2 other pastors and overseeing the growing small group ministry.

What also is really important to Mr. Derrick is serving the community. His team has been able to do multiple food drives for the local elementary school kids who go home on the weekend with no food. They have been apart of giving back $40,000 to 4 local charities the 12:45 Team supports and they have future plans to start a scholarship fund for high-schoolers.
